Arwyn Thomas/Patrick Walsh also failed to make the end of the first section after putting a hole in the sump of their Escort.
Huw Myfyr/Gwawr Hughes went out before Petrol with altenator failure.
Tony Davies/Darren Garrod had the fuel pump fail very near the end but managed to get going again after dropping a large amount of time and blocking the track for a number of other competitors.
Ceri Richards/Aled Jones made an error on timing and ended up running ahead of their scheduled time, resulting in a load of fails.
